I’m one of those people who loves inspirational quotes. All you have to do is look in my office and see the signs posted on the walls. Some of the signs simple advice like “You know what you’re doing, Barb”. Others are poems and quotes that I read when I’m feeling insecure.
Earlier this week I went in search of some new quotes to share with you. These seven in particular resonated with me. Feel free to share.

This quote, by George Eliot, is one of my all-time favorite quotations. As we get older, we mourn lost opportunities. This is a great reminder that not all of them may be lost.
There’s an old sailing motto that says ‘smooth seas make poor sailors’. We may hate the rough times, but they make us better at life.
Listen to Nora. Nora knows what she’s talking about.
And lastly, because it’s Veteran’s Day….
Thank you to everyone who has served in our armed forces.
