I’m one of those people who loves inspirational quotes. All you have to do is look in my office and see the signs posted on the walls. Some of the signs simple advice like “You know what you’re doing, Barb”. Others are poems and quotes that I read when I’m feeling insecure.
Earlier this week I went in search of some new quotes to share with you. These seven in particular resonated with me. Feel free to share.
Anais Nin was a diarist and erotica author in the early twentieth century. Fascinated by psychoanalysis, she spent years documenting her own personal growth. She also slept with one of her analysts, but we won’t go there.
I love this sentiment. It reminds me that no matter how many times I stumble in life, I am strong enough to get up and keep going.
This quote, by George Eliot, is one of my all-time favorite quotations. As we get older, we mourn lost opportunities. This is a great reminder that not all of them may be lost.
Listen to Nora. Nora knows what she’s talking about.
And lastly, because it’s Veteran’s Day….
Thank you to everyone who has served in our armed forces.
