That there are so many people in this world who won’t read Harlequin romance simply because the word Harlequin is on the cover.  It’s a shame because they are missing out on some very well written books.  I’m not just talking about mine (although I’d like to think they’re well written), but books by people like Barbara Hannay, Liz Fielding, and Susan Meier.  Good, sweet romances with emotional depth.

But, because the cover says “Harlequin” they dismiss the titles.  And yet, at the same time, they’ll pick up an identically written book that doesn’t have the word HQ on it and love it.

Sad, because readers really are missing out.
